Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Let mixture cool and use a fine strainer to remove spices. Makes 9 portions.
Spiced Brown Sugar Flip
Combine all ingredients in a shaker but do not add ice. Shake briefly and break the seal to release the pressure. Briefly shake again to help froth the egg. Add a scoop of ice and shake once more until the tin gets frosty.
Pour into a glass or mug, giving the beverage about 10 seconds to settle. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and brown sugar across the top and enjoy.
