We’ve just learned that the first outbreak of H1N1 in a Canadian hospital has happened right here in Toronto. According to reports, Toronto’s associate medical officer of health, Dr. Barbara Yaffe has confirmed that there’s an outbreak of the H1N1 virus at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital. The Toronto Star is reporting that the city will open up two of its 10 vaccination clinics tomorrow for high-risk groups only. Read more about it here:

Yaffe also says that one out of every 20 schools in Toronto is reporting higher absenteeism due to flu-like symptoms, the Globe and Mail reports.
