There’s always much debate this time of year about whether or not resolutions are worth making.

Personally, I think when it comes to health, it’s always a good time to set goals for yourself.

This year, my main resolution is to have a healthy pregnancy. For me, that means making more meals at home using fresh veggies and fruit. I’ve signed up for a weekly organic veggie and fruit delivery service to keep me inspired (and avoid cold trips to the grocery store). I also want to keep active with pregnancy-friendly workouts. That means yoga, swimming or walking every day.

Another goal? Get lots of quality sleep. I was tired all the time before I got pregnant. Now, I’m a zombie if I don’t get at least 8 or 9 hours. Luckily, I got a Snoogle (the most amazing pregnancy pillow ever) and a Phillips Wake-up Light for Christmas – both of which have made sleep, and mornings, much easier.

Now it’s your turn! What are your health and fitness resolutions this year?
