Should parents lose custody of dangerously obese kids?

Dr. David Ludwig, an obesity specialist at Harvard-affiliated Children’s Hospital Boston, was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association saying it may be more ethical to temporarily place children who are severely obese in foster care, rather than have them undergo obesity surgery. | CBC.ca

Gonorrhea superbug discovered

Researchers have discovered a superbug strain of gonorrhea in Japan. The strain is resistant to all available antibiotics, and could pose a risk to public health worldwide, according to infectious disease experts. | The Toronto Star
